Obstacle: 18 long ass stairs, and a nice 8 rail

Sketch Factor: Only the right side is hitable on the 18 stair, it also slightly "bananas" towards the end of the rail not bad though.

Bust?: If you go be ready to hit it, the lady that runs the office for the apartments will as you to leave.

Perth Proving Grounds.

Perth Amboy Skatepark located in New Jersey has been a stomping ground for local riders for quite sometime now. I have had the chance on a couple of occaisons to ride there and meet all the rad kids who shred locally in the New York and New Jersey area. One of those riders ill never forget... Mike "Murda" Corleon, He dresses in high fashion, stays fashionablly high, and shreds with style. 3 qualities of him i see in myself so its always an enjoyment to watch him ride. He recently put a day video up, it definately looks like Murda's still got the swag with his buttery grinds and big ass bars to go along with his steeze.

Another rider that you can often find tearing it up at Perth Amboy is Jacob Gonzalez. I remember watching this kid ride a year or so back and he had some potential to be a great scooter rider. He just dropped a day video with not the greatest filming and editing but some really good riding. His style is very fluid and is starting to get some real amplitude to go along with his more technical tricks. I wouldn't mind seeing a full edit from this kid he's got mad tricks id like to see in the streets of NY.

French Toast #4.

The cover for French Toast Issue #4 has been released! Looks like Maxime Legrande aka "Le Baron" got the cover this month at a pretty rad lookin spot check it out below.

Also, check out this latest edit from the Dissidence Shop in France. These boys sure now how to make that box their bitch.

Conor Davidson.

The Bamboozle Skateshop in Boston, MA have been releasing these "Sunday Samples" as teasers for their new video coming soon. Alot of swagged out riders reppin for Bamboozle and this edit shows the talent of one by the name of Conor Davidson. He's been in the street game for a min so expect nothing less than an all street edit out of this dude.

Jon Aglialoro Opus Part.

Lucky Scooter Parts Web video series titled "Opus" has been a great project so far. We have seen parts from Evan Yamada, James Gee, Blake Bailor, and now Jon's part. This section from Jon is probably some of his best riding yet and for sure my favorite Opus part so far (waiting for Mike Mo's). All his tricks are done at a blazing speed, and his falls are far from just little slip ups. He's dedicated his body to the sport and the pavement a few times but still gets back up like its nothing. A lil something you kids should look up too.

RAW.

RAW Scooters out in France put together a weekend edit featuring some top French riders. Plenty of street slammers in this one including Lambert Judith, JD Randriambelson, and Maxime Legrand just to name a few. JD def does his thing in this video, I am a tad bit sad that he is no longer rockin an afro though. That thing added some major swag points!

TWHEE X JOSH YOUNG TILT THROWAWAY.

Josh Young clips are always a surprise to see and now that he's got some clips stacked for TILT we get to see some throwaway footage representin for the D!

Tyler Wheeland drops some throwaway clips. Looks like he may be stackin some good clips for a fresh new edit for TILT.

BIG RON.

Finally we get to see a full edit from none other than Ronald "Big Ron" Sharpe, one of the most OG street riders out there. He's up there with Matt Mckeen with some of these technical rail combos and added one handed steeze after every banger. I have this video on replay as of now. If you ride street learn all these tricks!!!

SANCHEZ.

Dont know the name? Steven Sanchez is OG rider back from the "I Scoot NY" times. He's always had a unique style to his riding. These are old clips of him and not his best check out the Proto DVD for that. Steven unfortunately doesn't ride much anymore. He' taken up long boarding and is still shredding. He's still out in NY so if you see him pullin mean power slides with his crazy beanies then give him a shout out for me.

Elyts Footwear has recently added Rider Benjamin Friant out of Switzerland to their roster. He than flew to California to come get comfortable with the Elyts squad... Let's just say there was alot more bro clips than riding but you will get to enjoy seeing what the pros are doing with their free time.

Kingsley recently flew out to NY and got some ice cold clips. He's working on a new video and I think we are going to like what we see from him.

LSP Opus Web video Part:II.

Lucky Scooter Parts have been working hard at filming since their last DVD "The First Clover". Here is part two of the web video series featuring OG James Gee. Its been awhile since we've seen footage from him but it looks like he's still alive and pushing. Throwing down some nice lines in all street setting, what more can you ask for?

Matt Rittler has been around for awhile but he has recently been attending college in Wisconsin. He still managed to make an edit for everyone to see and homeboy has skills! Keep it up!

Building Street Cred.

Logan Fuller has been sending me his new edits recently and this one has really caught my eye. He's young rider from Pennsylvania looking to make it big in the streets with edits like this. Hes showing lots of improvement from each video, be on the look out for a full edit as these were all throwaway clips.

Some throwaway footage. You already know Monky still kills tho, and gets a nice shot to the family jewels. Shout out to Zig Short and his family jewels as he suffered a horrible rail accident this past weekend.

The Friendly guys brought us the last Jackson Manzie video while he was in Cali. This is another bangin video for those guys. Great to see a diverse group of riders that all have style. Big ups to everyone involved with this video.

Long Island Comp/Jam.

On November 5th GoRide Scooters, Elyts, 841 and [WTF?Scooters] will be hosting a competition in Long Beach, Long Island , New York. Everyone attending will meet up at the long beach train station at 11:30am. From there we will ride to long beach skate park were the comp will begin. There will be three divisions beginner, intermediate and advanced. Part one will give each division 15 minutes to jam at Long Beach Skatepark and the judges will pick the top riders from each division. after round one there will be a short intermission. Then we will meet up again and ride to the lido 9 stair where we will have a jam that costs five bucks to enter and whoever lands the best trick wins all the money. Next we will ride to Nickerson Skatepark and continue the competition with round 2. This round will be timed group runs, the judges will narrow it down to the final 5 in each division. The final round will be 3 min individual runs and will determine the winners. Then we will hand the awards out to the prize winners of each division and end the competition. - Alex Chamoun

Aurelien Delamare.

I've seen this guy in comp videos and have been wondering when i'd see an edit from him. Aurelien Delamare looks like the new "Dreads" of Europe and has the swag to back it up. He possesses a bigger trick bag than the OG Alex Steadman but the hair is spot on. With a Sponsor like Eaglesport i'm sure this isn't the only video I will be seeing from him.

Taravana in Lyon 2: Le Retour

Tarvana riders Martin Victor et Arnaud, and "The Flav" Flavio Pesenti, come back with a duo part for the Spain based clothing company. These two kill it with smooth maneuvers at some sick spots/parks in Lyon.

Julio Oceguera x SZ wheels.

The Scooterzone has been a leader in innovationg the sport and coming out with parts like noone else. They are the leading storefront in the US and are planning to expand out of California in the near future. Team rider Julio Oceguera is getting his own signature wheel and let me be the first to say they are HOT! The wheels are expected to come in a 110mm platform with a new urethane different from the current wheels out by scooterzone. Glad to see some more companies getting into the signature part business, thats one way our pro's can make some extra money. I will hopefully be testing these so expect a full review soon!!!

Kickin It.

Riders Kingsley Okchoa and Georgie Louis have been in the game for a minute, i've personally witnessed Kingsley come up as a street rider and these guys both "Shred to Live". Both of them are doing big things in the scooter community and its trend that needs to be more popular in the Pro scene.

My Scooter Kills.

This is a music video featuring the riding of Hep Greg. If you actually listen to the lyrics the song is about scooters. This was a very entertaining edit, great filming and had that music video feel for sure.

Ryan Williams WTF Video.

Just when you thought you haven't watched a crazy "R. Willy" edit in a while, don't think twice because your prayers have been answered. Ryan Williams from Madd Gear Pro continues to innovate the sport with off axis aerial combos that most haven't really thought of yet. I think if all the pros could eventually step up to this level with park riding we may have that extra edge over some sports with the trick vocabulary. Here's "The Chromatik Web Video", A team of French homies gettin loose in the streets and parks. Looks like they had a fun time filming this video. That's what ridin scooters is all about, gettin together with your friends and having a great time.

French riders seem to always have style when riding. These homies from South France make swaggin look easy, with lots of tech grinds and going big at the skatepark.  Riders unknown to the scene over here in the US, these kids are def about to be on the come up... Riders: (In order of apparence) Aymard Vernay, Charles Padel, Valentin Matre, Julien Ebeyer, (Again Aymard Vernay) and Timothé Henry.

This Summer Tyler Bonner was keeping real busy riding for MADD, Traveling overseas on numerous occaisons. Most pro's only hope the sport gets to the level where every pro is getting the "Tbone" treatment. He shows us why he deserves to be known worldwide as one of the best in this edit. This is all the footy he got while he was in the US and damn is it good.

The Scoot Mag has finished a new Cover for the second issue featuring Terry Price. Cover turned out pretty rad cause of Terry's trick, a HUGE Super Flip. Looks like Jesse Ikedah has a little bit of face time in the mag as well as Ben J Friant.  Should hit Scooter Shops near you October 3rd.

Spain's scene is full of talented street riders. Clicked brings you a bunch of underground riders you probably haven't heard of. It looks like the riders of "Clicked" want to leave a good impression giving us a high quality teaser and an even better DVD to wait for.

I love when OG riders put out new edits, they instantly become a favorite of mine. My boy Eric Ostrom rides for District and has an OG street swag that really can't been duplicated. This kids got "Manny Maddness", loved seeing all the tech manny combos. He's gettin up to that Jon Reyes swag level for sure. Loved seeing the Switch manny too. Riding switch unlocks a whole new world of tricks, would love too see more riders throwin down switch bangers.

We all know that French riders are known for their bangin street videos. Well here's a laid back video featuring a bunch crew of upcoming riders that like to call themselves " The Muffin Crew". Blunt Rider Jonathan Zegarra get crafty on some ledges. Looks like all those OG spots in Queens, NY got old for him and found some sick spots for the most part I haven't seen. He's been progressing quite well since he's been on Blunt. Short n sweet job well done, a must watch for street heads.

Looks like there is another new scoot mag in the works. If you are from the UK it looks like this will be the mag for you, sharing all the latest updates interviews with the pros in the area. The more the merrier i say, props to whoever is running it more mags will create some exposure for sure. Back in The Game.

Ever heard of Edgar Rojas? Most of you newer riders probably not, but for you older guys Edgar was reppin hard for the Northwest before taking a short break from the sport. Known for his big Condor airs Edgar will be a rider to watch. I caught up with Edgar recently discussing his return back to the sport, here's what he had to say.

How long have you been taking a break from riding? 

It's been a little over a year since the last time i was actually down to ride everyday. 

What did you do with your time off?

I've just been chillin with friends, skating, and occasionally riding a scoot anytime someone at my local park has one.

How have Scooters changed since the short time you been gone?

Damn, a lot! So many new parts, crazy tech tricks, and the popularity of the sport has grown a lot. 

 

Which are you going to be shreddin more, park or street?

Definitely more street! Park can be sick, but I'm not really into all that tech stuff and fly out. I like to just flow, try to go big, and find some sick street spots.

Are you looking to pick up any Sponsors?

Not really searching to get sponsored, but that'd be really sick!

 

Who are some of the homies you ride with?

Mostly skaters but Junior Moore and Shane Ryan are two that are usually down to ride scooters. 

Any Shout outs?

Brian Wilson for getting a scoot so that I can ride because I don't have one. hahaha

Alex Collins.

After watching this video you would never have thought that Alex Collins was an Aussie rider. Kid's got madd swagg on the metal and hits the street features! Get this kid on some real street I would love to see that video!

Monky Sizing up.

I met Monky a while ago when going pro for scooters was fairly new. This little ball of energy has been throwin down ever since. Recently devoting most of his time to the streets he has easily become a favorite in the scooter world. The future looks bright for Monky as he continues to "Push" his riding to the next level.

Bonanza.

The Bonanza Scooter Crew from Texas releases their first video. The scene in Texas is rising and with that come more street riders. This video features Theo Kotyk, Kyle Miller and Chris Dant in an all street edit which is finally becoming a trend in the scooter world, a good trend at that. Can't wait to see some more footage from these guys keep it up.

Maxime "LeBaron" LeGrand rides for Addict and is the definition of a "Metal Shredder". I can't wait to see his "So What" DVD part it will be a for sure must see. Maxime has got the speed of a Fighter Plane when he attacks the streets and goes balls to the wall and makin great edits. Ryan Gould loves to get techy on ledges. He's got a bag full tricks and he's been unleashing on the streets. Ryan's swag has recently caught the interest of French I.D. and he is now apart of the Pro team. Ryan is definitely a perfect addition to the team with grind combos and street clips look for Ryan Gould in the future.

Kingsley Okocha.

My brotha Kingsley gettin gnar in the streets. Definitely throwin down in Endub fashion. I'm stoked to see how far Kingsley has come as a street rider,  just goes to show you a lil passion goes a long way. Take notes kids.

Aaron Brandson.

John Radtke 'Big Scoot".

Razor's John Radtke gets BIG on his "Dirt" style scooter. With bigger wheels and a longer wheel base John goes hard in the Dirt, Street, and Park. If you enjoy Dirt gaps, Park lines, and Street bangers this edit is a must watch. Props to John and his solid dirt scoot, i've rode it and i must say its damn fun to play on.

Elyts x El Toro

The Elyts crew made the short trip up to El Toro High from San Marcos. Hammers thrown down? Only the Elyts homies know what really happened. Be on the lookout for the Elyts DVD featuring Zig Short, Cory Vanlew, Lil Jon, Chris Hart and Cory Geisler they all have been spending time out in Cali to get some bangin clips. Combo's on rails isnt the easiest but, District Rider Eric Ostrom gets "Tech Nickelson" on flat rails at Pleasanton Skatepark, CA.

Timur gets creative with a bunch of fakie wildness. All street and some pretty tech spots,  doesn't get much better in Russia!
